This week the Port St Francis Harbour Association received a copy of a letter delivered to the Jeffrey’s Bay police station the contents of which advise of possible protest action by chokka squid fishermen. It came with a warning that the “expected conduct” could be “similar to that which recently played out in Gauteng and KwaZulu Natal.” Whether this materialises or not remains to be seen.
