A global urban aquaculture project involving seven African countries and the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) of the United Nations (UN), has been launched. The initiative aims to strengthen food security, improve nutrition, generate employment, and promote environmental sustainability in rapidly urbanising regions.
