Call to End Wildlife Markets. No Longer Plane Easy

To people familiar with the origins of the Coronavirus outbreak, a “wet” market or a wildlife market is the same thing. The fact is support is growing for a ban on wildlife trade and consumption on public health grounds. This includes live abalone and other marine species.

Conservation and environmental organisations around the world have been communicating with the World Health Organization. They want the WHO to recommend to governments that wildlife markets be permanently outlawed.

By doing so this will also bring to an end support for traditional Chinese medicine.
