A section of the 1620 hectare Hartbeespoort Dam where water hyacinth, an invasive aquatic weed very harmful to aquatic ecosystems, has taken over. Work is ongoing to try and clear it but as fast as this happens as fast it grows. Source: Stock

Fish deaths at Hartbeespoort Dam in North West Province, have raised concern. The matter is now under investigation to try and find out why.
