Namibia Bycatch Regulations Change, Stricter Penalties

The Namibian fishing industry has heard that its government has reduced the bycatch limit to 2% from 5% and upped the penalty fee from 15% to 50% as stipulated under Section 44 of the Marine Resources Act of 2000. Transgressors can expect to be named and shamed.
