Competition Watchdog Rules Out Price-Fixing in Horse Mackerel Sector

Ten Namibian Horse Mackerel fishing companies have been cleared of wrongdoing by the Namibian Competition Commission (NaCC).

Two investigations into possible price fixing in the horse mackerel sector have now been formally closed. According to the NaCC there’s no evidence of any contravention of the Competition Act, of collusion, or abuse of market dominance in the setting of horse mackerel quota usage fees.
