Amendments to Policies for the Transfer of Commercial Fishing Rights and Fish Processing Establishments

Now that the long-term rights allocation process has been completed, South Africa’s fisheries authority has plans to amongst other things, broaden economic opportunities and participation in the fishing industry to enable inclusive economic growth. This has resulted in two new draft policies being put forward for comment in the early part of October.
