A new report highlights the scourge of illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing. It also points to the fact that Africa is the target of 48,9% of industrial and semi-industrial vessels involved in this activity. There is now a call for urgent measures to improve transparency in the fisheries sector to fight IUU fishing.
