Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment Minister, Barbara Creecy, has told the parliamentary portfolio committee that appeals for linefish quotas would be finalised by the end of February. Participants in the eight other fishery sectors waiting for confirmation of their long term fishing right appeal applications will have to wait until October.
