Project Africa and the Promise of Becoming a Global Powerhouse

Unpredictable global trade has put the spotlight on opportunities for intra-Africa trade. In February South Africa exported its first shipment of goods to Ghana under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) agreement. African leaders and the business sector are excited about the promise of the continent becoming a global powerhouse, but there is a lot of work to do before this becomes a reality.
