Mozambique to Use Drones for Climate Disaster Response

Mozambique faces mounting climate vulnerabilities, including cyclones and tropical storms of increasing frequency and intensity, devastating floods that displace thousands and destroy infrastructure, prolonged droughts threatening food security and water resources, and rising sea levels endangering coastal communities and ecosystems. Traditional disaster response mechanisms cannot match the speed and scale of climate-driven emergencies so an out-the-box solution has been a Drone-Based Disaster Management Solution Project which has now been successfully completed.
