The Western Cape’s many indigenous fishing communities and others, have been successful in their quest to stop the seismic survey programme underway on the Cape west and south west coasts. However their happiness will not be shared by everyone, least of all Minister Gwede Mantashe of South Africa’s Department of Mineral Resources and Energy.
