The year 2020 was tough for Namibians. The business community took strain, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and associated restrictions is still being felt directly and indirectly, and then there was the local and regional elections in November. Added to this is the disarray in the commercial fishing industry, traditionally the biggest contributor to the country’s GDP.
